Danalee Jennings, Director of the Alabama Mountain Lakes Tourist Association spoke to a large crowd in Double Springs interested in commemorating the 150th birthday of Winston County slated for 2008. Each city in the county was well represented and anxious to learn how to celebrate this important date. Plans possibly involve celebrating the 150th birthday of Winston County on a local and countywide level.
